To prepare for the Solidworks certification exam I took the solidworks practice test. During the practice test I learned how to use global variables to changed common dimensions. I also learned how to interpret a drawing from several different sections.

During Engineering 1 I had to interpret and understand engineering drawings. I then had to model them in Solidworks to create a 3D model. After that I had to create an an engineering drawing from the model in Solidworks. Overall I learned how to use Solidworks, interpret and understand engineering drawings, turn a 2D drawing into a 3D model, create an engineering drawing from a model in Solidworks, be able to reverse engineer engineering drawings, and be able to change the material of the model.
This is an example of a drawing that I had to model in Solidworks. (Lower Bearing House).
