We're going back 25 years, to the year 1993, for this week's Brent song of the week 28, " Thank You Mr D," It was in the beginning of the Brent & Woofy career. Brent was a house dad raising two young boys. When Mr Dressup came on the TV the boys were glued to the set and Brent could do some housework peacefully. This inspired him to write a tribute song for Mr Dressup. Ernie Coombs loved the song and visited with Brent every time they were in the same area. Check out the phone call Brent received from Mr. Dressup at Christmas time!

Brent wrote, One Town Closer to You, about life on the road as a traveling musician, he offered it to his sister-in-law, Sandy Lambert to sing on her CD. It turns out she recorded one of his songs, I Don’t Love To Hate You but I Hate Loving You, instead. Brent will be recording this song in the near or distant future!

Pretty Sweet Young Woman is a song I wrote when I was a teenager, about teenage love. I haven’t seen the girl I wrote the song about in many, many years, but she was in my dream the other night! The order of songs is chosen by a random generator so its coincidence she popped into my dream the same week her song came up on Brent’s Song of the Week!
