Hi this is Brent, you know where I live out on the west coast of Canada, way out there on Vancouver Island, it really gets cold enough to snow at my house at Christmas, and I was just wondering...
Way back in the beginning of my song writing career I knew I wanted to write and record a Christmas Album. "It's Christmas Time" is the first Christmas song that I wrote and it's still one of the most popular songs!
When Santa Comes Down the Chimney is one of my favorite songs I have written. I use this song in the live shows to get the kids up to dance. I wear a black wig and pretend play a wooden copy of the old Vox guitar from when I was a kid. Always a whole lot of fun!
I ventured up to Gogo's Christmas Tree Farm a few days ago to gather my tree, as I do every year for the past 30 years. In 1996 I had an idea to write a song about the experience of wandering thru the thousands of trees to find the perfect Christmas tree. I wrote a letter to the owner, Mike Gogo, and he still has is hanging on his wall. Born form the great times my kids and I had picking out our Christmas tree, the song “Christmas Trees at Gogo’s Farm” was written and recorded on Brent & Woofy's 1997 album, “It's Christmas Time!”

Woofy's Seven Days Of Christmas was recorded on Brent & Woofy's It's Christmas Time! The 1997 CD packed full of traditional and original Christmas song!
Woofy the Dog was 'born' in 1993. He is the canine/puppet half of the musical comedy duo Brent & Woofy. He's a lovable little mutt the kids of all ages adore because of his warm personality and silly antics. More info at http://www.bbshows.ca
History of Woofy the DogWhen I was around 18 years old I moved out of my home town to the big city. A childhood sweet heart came to visit me there, and of course she came by train. I wrote this song waiting for her to arrive.
