As of August 2023, I now live in Seattle, WA with my wonderful girlfriend, Anna. Together we love to get out trail running, gravel biking, rock climbing, skiing, and enjoying good food. Although I no longer bartend or work in restaurants, I still love to experiment with cocktails and food at home and especially love the art of fermentation.
Aside from my studies in Boulder, I was able to pursue many of my passions. I worked at the Outdoor Program at CU for the entire time I was a student and worked many different roles ranging from climbing wall desk staff to trip leader, belay instructor, and the Rental Center Student Coordinator. I was also briefly a member of the rowing team and Backcountry Club and most of my friends were a part of the Alpine Club and Climbing Team.
I was born in Manhattan, NYC in 1997, and moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 2004 after the events on 9/11 disrupted my family and urged my parents to move closer to my grandparents. I grew up in Colorado Springs where I learned to love running and being in the outdoors. I went to high school at Cheyenne Mountain High School and was a captain of the Cross-Country team, a member of the Track team, the National Honors Society, the Science Olympiad team, and many other groups/teams.
My mom is currently retired and living in Spokane, WA with her husband Jon. They spend their time doing yoga, hiking, biking, and fly fishing.
Tristan is currently living in Boulder, CO and is a medical student at Rocky Vista University. In his freetime he loves getting outside riding bikes, running, and skiing.
My dad is the owner and founder of 291 Colorado Whiskey. In his free time he loves to get into the mountains hiking and traveling.
