To expand reach of our campaign, WCTA HOSA allowed us to present our campaign, on January 13th, to the club of over 300 MEMBERS! We introduced our campaign, its focus, and future plans!
In collaboration with WCTA HOSA, we led the February 3rd general meeting's icebreaker! We instructed students to create word clouds with words or phrases that define them or were important to them!Â
For the week of February 3rd-7th, we sold Anxiety Care Kits at our school, West Career and Technical Academy, to support Northern Nevada HOPES. Each kit contained a stress ball, positive affirmation card, fidget string, pop-it, 1-2 sensory stickers, and a fidget ring!
At the end of our Anxiety Care Kit week, we participated in our school's monthly event, First Friday. Every first friday of the month, organizations and clubs host activities during lunch for students to participate in. We hung up a poster and instructed students to put a sticky note of a positive mental health achievement made during the week! We conducted this activity both online and in-person.
