Pool Tags

Use last year's pool tag, or bring an ID showing your current address, until the new electronic key cards are implemented (date to be announced). The address on your ID must be a Braun Station West address.

Guests

Guests may accompany a resident with a pool tag or ID.

Swim at Your Own Risk

No lifeguards will be present. There will only be a monitor to check IDs and enforce the rules. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, per Texas law, and unaccompanied minors must be able to swim.

Pool Monitors

We are still hiring part-time pool monitors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Prior lifeguard experience or CPR certification is a plus. Starting pay is $12 per hour with guaranteed raises for good performance. Shifts will be four hours long with up to 20 hours per week. Duties include regulating entry and ensuring rules are followed.

Swim Lessons

There will not be any group swimming lessons this season.

Pool Rules

Pool Card Form

To expedite the process of buying your pool key card when you come to the office, fill out the Pool Card Form in advance (one form per family). Click on the link above for the pool card form. NOTE: We will not begin issuing the cards until approximately the end of May 2023.

Pool Cards are $30 each per family and may be used by all family members and up to five of their guests. Additional cards and cards for seniors or disabled persons are $20 each.

The Tezel Pool is the largest of our two pools. It's also used by the Braun Station Swim Team for practices and meets.  Go Barracudas!!

Pool Parties

The Tezel Pool may be leased for pool parties on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Contact the manager for more information or to make a reservation.

This pool is really a treasure. A unique pool—what other neighborhood has a pool with shade trees covering most of the pool? 

Clubhouse and Pool Lease/Rental Policies 

1. The clubhouse and pool may be leased/rented by Braun Station West residents only, whose assessments are paid. 

2. Clubhouse Rental Fees: One hundred fifty dollars for the first five hours. Twenty-five dollars for each additional hour. A one hundred fifty dollar deposit is required. 

3. Pool Rental Fees: Fifty dollars for up to five hours (minimum of two hours). A fifty dollar deposit is required. One pool monitor is required at an hourly rate to be agreed upon with the monitor. You are responsible for paying the monitor at the time of your party. 

4. Setup and Cleanup: Your rental time includes setting up of your function and cleaning up after the event has ended. No one will be permitted to decorate or set up earlier or stay to clean up later than the time for which you have contracted. If there are any damages to the clubhouse and/or pool, your security deposit will be put towards repairs/replacements. If there are no damages, your security deposit will be returned to you after the keys are returned and the clubhouse has been cleaned. This includes the bathrooms and sweeping and mopping the clubhouse as well as the counters, etc. 

5. Summer Clubhouse/Pool Rental Hours: The Tezel Pool & Clubhouse may be leased for pool parties on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Contact the manager for more information or to make a reservation.
