Perhaps the most interesting domain of thought concerning the Sonoma Wine Industry is the complex normative web that all participators emphatically build. Ironically, while most of the parties involved believe that the others are harming progress and perhaps Deontological obedience, they are all continually working on the same web. In order for us as environmental philosophers to develop an ethical theory that best estimates (and perhaps demonstrates) the individual and collective psyche of Sonoma's Wine Industry, we must turn to a more holistic approach. By researching the different parts of the web, we can start to understand the moral environment more thoroughly. This is extremely important because we cannot possibly understand the entire ethical landscape without attempting to consider all of the sides to the same story. While we can do our best to approach this everlasting horizon of complex theory, we are a small perspective in an even bigger web of perspective. We hope that with this section, we can develop a coherent bedrock for further normative developments.
