And while that report was completed five years ago, I believe the same still holds true today. Therefore, if a company wants to clear-cut, a full EIR should be completed and third party geologists should survey the site to ensure that the environment is secure enough to be clear-cut. If not, restrict cutting to specific quadrants to preserve whatever natural ecology and habitat possible.
