The term "neurodivergent" refers to people whose brain differences affect how their brain works.
This means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don't have those differences.
This isn't a medical term instead used as a word to describe those who have differences other than words such as normal vs abnormal
That’s important because there’s no single definition of “normal” for how the human brain works.
Some examples of neurodivergent conditons include:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder ( ADHD)
Down sydrome
Dyslexia
Tourettes sydrome
How these conditions affect brain development in ways such as :
differences in social preferences
ways of learning can typcially be different
ways of communicating
ways of perceiving the environment
mental function diffrences
sensorary proccessing
faster expanison of surafce area of the cortex
sturggles with soft skills ex: emotional intellengence, soial interactions, or the abilty to work well in groups
