I am a passionate teacher, always eager to take on new challenges. I have been lucky enough to teach on a wide variety of modules during my time at Sheffield. This include the pure in analysis and group theory, the applied in mathematics for mechanical engineering, as well as overseeing a short research project with an undergraduate.
I am thrilled to have received many positive testimonies from the students; the following quotes are some examples.
"Bradley Ashley is a great teacher (...)"
"Tutorials are very helpful– Bradley Ashley is amazing"
"try and make the tutorials more like Bradley's (...)"
Below is a list of all teaching done to date (in chronological order), in addition to extra teaching-related activities I have been involved in.

During the 2024 summer, I assisted a small cohort of MSc Statistics Students with their academic writing. This consisted of giving written feedback on the four of the student's drafts. Each draft with feedback was followed by a 1 on 1 meeting, where we discussed the feedback and I answered any questions the student may have.

12/06/2023-07/07/2023 - I took part in the UGRI scheme at Sheffield where I wrote a project proposal for and supervised a four-week research project with an undergraduate student. The project was entitle `Category Theory and the Deep Connections Throughout Mathematics'. In this project, we guided a student through the basics of category theory, motivating the results at each section with examples, and assisted the student through exercises.
25/05/2023 - I was part of the organising committee for a one-day teaching workshop at the University of Sheffield with attendees from universities nationwide, funded by the IMA and the University of Sheffield. Full details can be found here.
