I am a PhD student at The University of Sheffield working with Dr Paul Mitchener. I am an active member of the Algebraic Topology group at Sheffield, co-organising the internal Algebraic Topology Seminar Series for the Academic Year 2022/23.

Coarse Geometry

Coarse Geometry is a theory still in its infancy, first introduced by John Roe in 1993. As such, there is still much groundwork left to develop the theory.

Coarse Homotopy theory is an even younger subfield of coarse geometry developing a notion of homotopy between coarse spaces. As such, many constructions taken for granted in topology are yet to be established in the coarse world. I am working on bringing across many of these ideas, from cofibrations to the fundamental groupoid.
