Setting Up the Game

Creating the game

If your game has not yet been created, please create it with the following settings, then in the Google sheet list the table id in the appropriate column.

• Navigate to Carcassonne: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=carcassonne

• Make sure to choose a turn-based game.

• Set number of players: 2

• Set game speed: 1 move per day

• Keep the default settings: 

  • "The River" is unchecked

  • "Inns & Cathedrals (Expansion 1)" is No

  • "Traders & Builders (Expansion 2)" is No

  • "The Princess & the Dragon (Expansion 3)" is No

  • "Strategic variant (3 tiles in hand)" is unchecked

  • "Field scoring" -> Each field is worth 3 points per adjacent completed city (International rules)

  • Completing a city of two tiles is worth" -> 4 points (International rules)

• Click the plus sign and enter your opponent's username under "Find players..."

Joining the game

Once you join the game your opponent has set up, record the turn order in the Google sheet.

Updating the game result

Once your game completes, enter the final scores in the Google sheet.
