Meet the P&C Executive Team

President

Annette Tolhurst

I have twins Grace & Jack in year 5 and have loved being an active part of the P&C and parent community since Kindy.

It has been so important to me as a way of staying connected to the school.

I am the ‘old timer’ on the Exec and I look forward to being able to blend some of the old (pre CoVID) community ethos with the ideas of our newer parents, Exec and Principal.

My goal is to make the P&C an inclusive community with lots of opportunities to connect and support not just the school but each other.

Oh, and I am a process efficiency nut so I am always looking for a way to make systems easier – so beware!

Secretary

Emily    Ray

I have two boys – Liam in Year 2 and Kobe who is 2 years old.

We feel so fortunate to be part of the BSPS community.

I remember taking Liam to the school fete when he was just a baby and being so impressed – the teachers were all so enthusiastic and passionate, and the families were lovely!

The school has a very special feel about it and that’s something that I’m keen to contribute to, which is why I joined the P&C.

Treasurer

James McKinlay

I love our neighbourhood and have been looking forward to getting involved with the school since attending the fete on that beautiful day back in 2018.

Our eldest, William is in year 2 this year, and Jasper just started in kindy.

My background is economics and investments so figured the Treasurer position was the best way for me to contribute.

Vice Pres

Felicity Wright

Mum to two boys, one in year 2 and a 4-year-old who is itching to join his brother at big school.

Our village community is incredibly important to me and one of the things that makes Bourke St great.

We have an incredible school and being involved in the P&C is the best way to be informed and contribute.

Outside of school I work in children’s health, play trombone and am an amateur astronomer.

Vice Pres

Karl Liessmann

The Bourke Street community holds immense significance for me. The school's nurturing ethos and the unified spirit of our community have motivated me to engage actively via the P&C.

My eldest child is in Year 3 and my youngest in kindergarten. They both cherish their school, its role models, and the avenues it offers for connection, achievement, and growth.

I am presently working in NSW government schools and hold a strong passion for public education.
