Full Name: Jasper Thatch
Nicknames and Pseudonyms: a whole mess of them
Age: 41
Role on Ship: Muscle, gunner when needed, a bit jack of all trades, all around scoundrel
Homeworld: Cantra
Significant Relations and Affiliations: The Siren's Song crew.
Bonds, Obligations, Debts, and Warrants: a whole mess of those too
Appearance: Tall, lean, and gangly, Jasper wouldn't be all that physically intimidating if not for the way life has left its mark on him. Short brown hair and a distinctive face, made all the more so by the scars that marr it and the white film covering his right eye; his teeth have been broken and repaired, along with his nose, and tattoos cover a significant portion of his skin.
Personality: Huge asshole. Shit-stirrer. Is absolutely the one who Zaire calls to help him do the real dirty work. He and Trig do not get along.
While there are a handful of the crew who can keep him in line, if left to his own devices, Jasper's potential for cruelty is unmatched among them. This has led to some problems in the past, though less so in the last five or so years. Zaire wonders if maybe he's calming down in his 'old age'.
Jasper is definitely a big part of the reason the Song has the reputation it does.
History: Born into abuse and poverty on Cantra, Jasper spent his entire teenage and young adult life in and out of the prison system. Theft, assault, attempted rape, his record ran the gammut with crimes that steadily climbed in severity until he fell off the radar and then turned up on Warden in his mid twenties.
The change of location was for the best - in his opinion anyway - since Warden didn't have nearly the same level of lawfulness that Cantra did, and Jasper's crimes continued to escalate as he careened from one shady job to the next before signing on with the pirate crew of the Red Death.
There, Jasper met Zaire and when his new friend organized a mutiny amongst the crew, the Cantran was at his side. The two murdered the hell out of the former captain and those loyal to her, with Zaire claiming the ship for his own and renaming it the Siren's Song.
