Model: Tati Gabrielle
Name: Dia Tempest
Age: 25
Homeworld: Presumably Animal Crossing
General Appearance: Tall and solidly built, that Dia's muscle isn't chiseled doesn't make it any less apparent. She's eye-catching, with full sleeves tattooed on each arm, and a pretty face that tends to fall into a neutral expression that some would call intimidating. Dia's hair is kept short, with the tips bleached, and her eyes dark enough to rival the black of her roots.
Personality: Despite long hours practicing her polite customer service smile, Dia still finds the forced warmth a feat of endurance. Every night, striking that balance between no-nonsense from a distance and welcoming when approached, leaves her worn out by the end of her shift. If she could do her job without having to actually interact with anyone, Dia would be much happier, though only Tony knows that truth.
And having the tiger at her side only feeds that duality, with many people just as curious about him as they are scared. There are few places in the galaxy where the eight foot long, four hundred and thirty pound white tiger with the bright blue Enlightened One eyes wouldn't draw attention and SS Artemis isn't one of those places.
Brief History: If anyone asks, Dia grew up on Animal Crossing, was chosen by Tony at the age of twelve during the Choosing Ceremony, is ex-military, and has been working as Nihar Brume's right-hand woman for the last five years.
The truth of Dia's existence is far more complex and disturbing though.
Born in a lab on an unknown planet, Dia was one of twelve sisters grown from a mishmash of DNA and incubated in an artificial womb. The first ten years of her life were filled with learning, warm interactions with human doctors and scientists and more matter-of-fact ones with their robot caretakers, with lessons on history and battle tactics, field medicine and arithmetic, with nurturing of social skills and compassion.
Until all of that abruptly changed. Training became specialized and Dia was introduced to Tony, the huge white tiger cub who would grow to become her constant companion. And, eventually, she met Nihar Brume, who funded her training for his own eventual benefit.
Dia was planning to leave with her sisters when the day came to escape the lab, but she and Tony were two of the few who didn't make it out. Punishment for their actions was harsh and prolonged and over the years the mental toll of the brainwashing that followed was successful. She wasn't a human. She was a weapon. She was created for one purpose and that was all that mattered.
When she was twenty, Dia and Tony's training was deemed complete and they left the lab for their new home on SS Artemis where the two would oversee the security of not just their benefactor but also his businesses.
