My housing platform is focused on making Orangeville a place where people at all income levels can afford to live.
We need to build more affordable housing while creating a healthy mix of low-, middle-, and higher-income housing throughout our community.
We should take full advantage of current housing incentives and funding programs offered by the provincial and federal governments to help make these projects possible. We should also incentivize non profit, small and large landlords to offer affordable housing in Orangeville
We should also look at using existing municipal and County-owned land to develop affordable rental housing, helping seniors, families, young people, and working residents find safe and affordable places to call home.
