Profile

Department of Botany was established on 10/07/2008 to conduct quality education in plant Science with undergraduate stream. The department had initially only one faculty member and has grown significantly in past years to six faculties and upgraded to Postgraduate on 25/06/2018 with the vison to escalate it as a research center.  The department supports more than 400 Undergraduate students and 150 Postgraduate students. It is situated in Rural and Tribal locality of Bichhua Tehsil. The town Bichhua is 45 km away from the district headquarter.

College is affiliated to Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara (M.P.). The college campus is spread over a 4 acres area and has adequate infrastructure, enough laboratory equipment and library facilities. 

The department is visited by experts from various institutions on a regular basis. The department has active collaboration with other prominent institutes in Madhya Pradesh.  the B.Sc. and M.Sc. program at the institute.
