About us

Department of Botany was established on July 10, 2008 with undergraduate stream. It is situated in Rural and Tribal locality of Bichhua Tehsil. The town Bichhua is 45 km away from the district headquarter.

College is affiliated to Chhindwara University, Chhindwara (M.P.). The college campus spread over 38 acres area and has adequate infrastructure enough laboratory equipment and good library. 

The department of botany was established in 2008 to conduct quality education in plant Science. The department was started with only one faculty member and has grown significantly in past years and upgraded to Postgraduate in 25/06/2018 with the vison to escalate it as research center.  The department has more than 400 Undergraduate students and 100 Postgraduate students.

The department is visited by experts from Madhya Pradesh on regular basis. The department has active collaboration with universities and institutes in Madhya Pradesh. The department supports the B.Sc. and M.Sc. program at the institute.
