Borgini Research Group

Founded in 2023 at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, the Borgini Research Group conducts research at the interface of organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. We develop strain-release-driven transformations and C–H functionalization reactions, and we design covalent therapeutics and protein–protein interaction inhibitors. Our work seeks to enable new approaches for drug discovery and chemical biology.
