Who are the interview subjects?

Subjects are being approached, and interested participants are welcome to get in touch.

How will the interviews go ahead during COVID disruption?

First, letters of introduction will be shared along with project information. Then there is the matter of ethics, and informed consent.  

Online interviews are recommended.

What is the project timeline?

The soundscape and findings are expected to be finalised by the end of 2024.  Since the project timeframe is more than two years, most of that period will be spent interviewing, transcribing and reviewing the draft material.  

Script development is the final product.

How long does the interview process take?

Questions are shared  with subjects in advance of semi-structured interviews.  There can be up to three stages to interviews:

• preliminary (30 minutes); 

• first interview (60-90 minutes); and 

• follow up review discussion (60 minutes).

What are the benefits of reminiscence for interviewees?

Aside from reflecting and sharing insights, contributors will receive a copy of their interview recording and transcript.
