Associate Research Scholar, Princeton University & NOAA GFDL

Hi, welcome to my website. I am a climate scientist, generally interested in water, including the water cycle, water security, the ocean, swimming, etc. My research focuses on regional hydroclimate variability and extremes (such as drought and extreme rainfall) and their connections to the large-scale atmospheric circulation, from subseasonal to decadal and longer time-scales. I am also interested in how these processes are captured by state-of-the-art climate models.

You can find more details about my research in "Research" and "Publications". For my academic and research experiences, please see my CV, Google scholar, ResearchGate, or ORCID.

Outside of work, I like swimming, reading, traveling, and photography. I love wandering in cities or sitting by the ocean, lakes, ports, etc.
