Originally from the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York, Maura has lived and worked in the Berkshires for nearly twenty years. As an educator and lifelong animal lover, Maura found herself in a position to finally pursue one of her dreams--opening a dog boarding facility. But not a regular old kennel or at-home boarding situation; Maura wanted something unique, something she has dreamed about since childhood: highly tailored, individualized pet boarding with absolutely all of the comforts of home.

Inspired by a boarding facility from her childhood, her love of animals, and her own concerns with boarding her pets, Maura opened Booked & Boarded. After over thiry years of pet sitting experience of a wide variety of animals, from everything to rodents to livestock, she is excited to continue this journey and open her space to families who want to feel at ease while they travel, explore, or work.
