Our General Teaching Philosophy: 

Our goal is to foster a strong love for music in each of our students, while building a solid foundation in technique, musicianship and musicality. We believe that each student is different and should be taught differently. We teach all styles of music and encourage creativity and imagination.  We whole-heartedly believe that anyone can learn to play and create music if the desire is there. Our goal is to help each student unlock the potential and music within.

My Teaching Philosophy in regards to Piano Instruction: 

I embrace and practice a holistic approach with European influnces in my teaching methods, and gravitate towards the philosohies of Dalzroze and Taubman. It is my belief that the student should establish and master fundemental technical and pyhysical concepts from the start of instruction. Priority should be given to the development of instrument fluency above all other concepts and tools.
