THANK YOU from Sherman Stake Presidency
Sherman Texas Stake
June 5, 2024
Dear Members of the Sherman Stake,
Thank you so very much for all of the effort, faith, and prayer on behalf of the McKinney Texas Temple.
What a tremendous blessing it is to be called upon by the Lord to stand up and represent Him in this sacred effort.
It was so touching to witness the efforts and the faithfulness that you have exhibited, under invitation from the leaders of the Church, to step forward and be counted. Thank you!
May we continue to be intentional in our actions and prayers and exhibit love and charity as we petition heaven for the divine help needed on behalf of the saints in this area as well as the people in this part of Texas, to see the fulfilment of the promised temple to be built. It will truly be miraculous to have a House of the Lord in our midst and to see the light, knowledge, power, and protection that it will bring.
With love and appreciation for all that you do to live the gospel and keep the covenants you have made.
Sincerely,
Christian A Cooper

On receipt of this email, please take 5 minutes of your time and if you support having a House of the Lord built in the location which has been revealed and prayerfully selected, write a few lines describing your support and what a temple would mean to you in our area and why.
The timing is critical for this effort so please take a few minutes to write! We would like to have these emails sent before Monday, June 3, at noon.
We invite every member of your household—youth of Aaronic Priesthood and Young Women age

“Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the
Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth.
And may the Lord Jesus Christ grant that their prayers may be answered according to their faith…”
(Mormon 9:21, 37)
May the Lord bless us to be united, loving, and committed to that which has been promised.

TIME SENSITIVE: Fairview Town Council Meeting 6/4
Sherman Texas Stake
Dear Members of the Sherman Stake,
The Fairview Town Council is scheduled to vote on the application for the McKinney Temple this Tuesday, June 4 at 7:30 PM.
This meeting will take place at Acacia’s Event Venue, 351 Southwind Ln. Fairview, TX. We invite all to attend as circumstances allow. We hope our efforts will show the council the strong community backing for the temple.
To create a unified and visually cohesive show of support, please wear a white shirt.
Given the significance of this meeting, we anticipate a large turnout of supporters. As a result, seating inside may be limited. We recommend being prepared to sit outside during the proceedings. To ensure your comfort, consider bringing items such as umbrellas, water, camping chairs, fans, and any other necessities.
We kindly remind all participants to remain non-defensive and kind, regardless of others' comments. As neighbors, we can hold differing views without being disagreeable. Your peaceful participation and support are greatly appreciated and will make a meaningful impact on this process.
Sincerely,
Christian A. Cooper
