McKenzie UMC's Shepherd's Supper meals every Wednesday!
Fantastic opportunity to help feed a hot meal to those in need. There are many ways to help, prepare food before each meal, deliver meals to homebound, or even make deserts earlier in the week. If you want to help serve food or visit and be a friend to those coming for supper you can do that too!
To volunteer call Sandy Parten (903) 449-3104

Various projects. Thinking of a short (one off) project that would help build unity and support ward members? There are great ways to help each other, have fellow ward members help, and make a sometimes daunting project become something fun and unifying.
If you know of someone in need, a neighbor or friend, if you're a ministering sister or brother who needs a hand in helping your assigned family, this is one way we honor our covenants - when we help our neighbors! To get a project started please reach out to your organization president or ministering brothers and sisters, they may have the resources you need. If not, they can help get the project organized and get the word out to other ward members. Make sure those you want to help are accepting of others calling and offering help, get details - BE SPECIFIC - and the current contact information. In many cases you may be the primary contact - this allows you to serve as well - and is a perfect way for our ministering sisters and brothers to continue in their assignment.
