The purpose of my Experiential Module was to define a supervisory plan by focusing on teacher training, effective leadership, and reviewing literature about classroom observations as ongoing professional development. Below you will find the 2 items I designed as tools to help guide new world language leaders as well as links to my report, presentation, and reflections of this module.
There are 2 documents here for WL specific observations. Each is for whomever initiates the observation-the observer who would like new ideas for his/her class or the observee who would like feedback on their teaching. For more information on how to use, please see my presentation.
This timeline is not just for a new teacher onboarding situation, although that is one option. It also serves as a timeline for WL department leaders and the topics that would be helpful to discuss at any given time during the year.
