Bourbon County Farm Bureau

Who are we?

Bourbon County Farm Bureau is part of the Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation, serving as an advocate for agriculture while providing services and benefits to local Farm Bureau members. The Bourbon County Farm Bureau Board of Directors helps to guide the work of this organization through the work of several committees at the local level.

Kentucky Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization dedicated to serving our membership family and their communities. As the Voice of Agriculture, we identify problems, develop solutions, promote economic success, and enhance the quality of life for all.

This website is created and managed by the Bourbon County Farm Bureau Education Committee. This commitee is comprised of a group of agricultural educators, farmers and volunteers committed to sharing their knowledge and passion for agriculture with others.

What do we Do?

ADVOCATE

Farm Bureau is a grassroots organization where local issues facing agriculture are advocated for to develop programming and impact legislation at the local, state and national level.

EDUCATE

Bourbon County Farm Bureau believes that educating consumers about the role agriculture plays in everyday life is an important mission. We strive to educate at community events throughout the year and support community educators.

SUPPORT

Another mission of Bourbon County Farm Bureau is to support our community and solve problems. We seek to serve our local community through a variety of ways and one of those ways is our little pantry project.
