Welcome to our Crystal Palace Board Games and Beyond gathering! We'd love to see you at a Game Night, where we try and fill our evening with social fun and exciting tabletop games.
Whether you're a fan of strategy, dice, card, or board games, or just starting this exciting hobby, there will be plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. This is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, connect with fellow gamers, and immerse yourself in a night full of fun times and laughter. Grab your favorite game and come join us at the Anerley Arms for an unforgettable gaming experience. Let the games begin!

We meet at the Anerley Arms (next to Anerley train station) from 7pm (there is food available at the bar from 5.30pm usually)
We encourage a relaxed atmosphere, where we (generally) prioritize company over fierce competition. We have members from complete beginners right through to experienced 'gamers'.
We have a everyone plays ethos - so as you arrive we'll do our best to fit you into a game.
We often split into a few groups based on people's game preferences and player numbers, and usually have plenty of time to try a few games over the course of the evening.
While we sometimes pre-plan a heavier weight game, there are always games being played 'in the moment' depending on number of players, styles of play, games available and vibes.
If you do have a (heavier) game to set up we recommend getting there earlier rather than later.
Feel free bring along any games you think we might enjoy, but you don't have to - there will be plenty to join in with!
If you are bringing your own game, please be prepared to teach it to people who haven't played it before - we suggest games you are already familiar with or have read the rules beforehand or maybe watch a 'how to play' or play-though video on youtube.
If you do not have a game to setup, you can arrive at any time.
The event hosts are regular attendees but might not make it to every event - if you can't spot us, then just approach the folks sitting at tables surrounded by board games (usually on left as you come in the door). We're a friendly bunch and will be more than happy to welcome you.
The club is held in a pub so under 18's MUST be accompanied by an adult.
