Figure 2 displays the outpatient prescription rate of the Fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics in 2023 by U.S state. Based on the data, a higher prescription rate is observed in South-Eastern states and a lower prescription rate in North-Eastern states. The highest prescription rate being 81/1000 in Mississippi and lowest being Washington with a rate of 21/1000.
