Changes in Resistance Over Time

Figure 3 displays the percent microbial resistance from 2011 to 2022 for all types of healthcare-associated events (CLABSI, CAUTI, SSI). Based on the data, the highest resistance was observed in 2015 at 36.8% after which it decreased until 2019. Although in the more recent years, resistance has declined from its peak in 2015, it is consistently rising upwards from 2019.
