Shitmemery was born and raised in Roxbury, a neighborhood of the city of Boston. In high school and throughout college, he was heavily involved with local Republican groups and eventually became a prominent community activist. In 2004, he earned his law degree from Boston College. There, he met his wife Lauren and married her shortly after graduation. After his wife got a promotion, he followed her and her work to Dixie, where he first won elected office as the state's Lieutenant Governor. Shit quickly rose through the ranks of the national GOP and eventually became its Chairman. Soon after his election, he joined dozens of prominent Democrats and Republicans alike as a founding member of the Bull Moose Party. After serving two full terms of Chairman of the BMP, Shitmemery is now largely uninvolved in party politics and is focused on his duties as Speaker.
Shitmemery eventually moved back to his hometown and, after serving briefly as an interim Senator for the state, Shit won election to AC-1 for the first time as a freshman in the 118th Congress. He has handily won reelection ever since, and this past term served as Speaker of the House. His most prominent legislative accomplishments are the North Woods National Park Act, the VORE Act, and the Resolution in Opposition to Authoritarianism. Shitmemery was one of the most active legislators in the House, serving as the chief sponsor of over 20 pieces of legislation.
