APG is a longtime organizer and activist, but a relative newcomer to federal politics. Before entering politics, APG served as a captain in one of the major shipping companies operating in the Atlantic. In his position, he gained a deep understanding of trade law in the United States and abroad and recognized problems that needed to be solved. After writing to his Senator, /u/KBelica, countless times, he realized he needed to take action himself. If elected, APG hopes to focus on modernizing our trade laws to promote free trade in a 21st century America. In his spare time, APG is a gifted floutist and has performed everywhere from his local bar to Symphony Hall in Boston! APG hopes to continue the strong BMP tradition of Chesapeake's 1st Congressional District and promises to be a Congressman by and for the people.
