Hey! My name is Neha, and I am a 4th year Biomedical Engineering, Premed major. I am currently in Dr. King's Novel Suture Project, creating a technique to assist healing after postpartum hemorrhaging. Additionally, I am in the BEAT lab, working on determining how cardiomyocytes remodel after inflicted with a disease. I hope to work as an EMT in the near future as well! Post-undergrad, I hope to attend medical school and pursue a career in cardiology. Outside of UCI, I love exploring new restaurants in the area, and I love watching action movies! Howdy! I'm Varu, a 4th year Biomedical Engineering Premed major planning to attend medical school after college. I'm an undergraduate researcher in Suture Lab, working on a novel solution for postpartum hemorrhage under Dr. King; and Baram Lab, assessing memory in the mouse hippocampus under Dr. Baram. I volunteer and shadow at UCI Health - Fountain Valley, and I'm going to start working as an EMT this fall. Outside of school, I like to work out, chill with my cat Circe, and bake sweet treats (my fellow board members can vouch). Hello, I'm Dean, a third year biomedical engineering premed major! I do undergraduate research on centrifugal microfluidic devices in the BiNoM lab and laser imaging at the Beckman Laser Institute. In the past years, I've made CAD models and assembled prototypes for such devices and presented for BiNoM at the UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium. I'm an enjoyer of anything Star Wars, eating new foods, gaming, and intriguing things. Looking forward to a new year of great things for BMES!

Nice to meet you! My name is Christopher Tan and I’m a third year BME:Premed. I’m an undergraduate researcher in the Beier Lab (neurophysiology) and the new lab manager of the King Lab (medical devices addressing women's health). I’m involved in a lot of different things on campus such as student advocacy in ASUCI and the Campuswide Honors Collegium. Outside of school, I enjoy 3D printing, rock climbing, and photography. Hi! My name is Shreyas, and I'm a 4th year BMEP major. I'm currently performing research in Dr. Xiang's TRUE Lab dedicated to finding cancer diagnostic and treatment modalities that serve as alternatives to X-ray radiation/CT based methods. I also serve as an ER volunteer, and work as a mentor for Learning Assistants here at UCI via the Certified Learning Assistants Program (CLAP). My long-term goal is to pursue a career in the medical field as an oncologist. Some things that I do outside of academics include performing Southern Indian Classical music, arranging songs for A Cappella, and playing videogames while listening to their OSTs (most recently, it was DS era Pokemon games).
