Boyana Martinova

I am currently a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Stanford University. 

I received my PhD from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in May of 2026, where I was co-advised by Daniel Erman and Jose Israel Rodriguez. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. While there, I wrote an honors thesis on introductory algebraic geometry under the advisement of Karl Schwede.

My research interests are centered around questions in commutative algebra, with connections to algebraic geometry and combinatorics. My CV can be found here (updated November 2025).
