6. Materials and Instruments
Students are responsible for bringing all necessary materials to each lesson, including their instrument (if violin), sheet music, and their assignment and practice notebook.
It is recommended that students have a well-maintained instrument. The studio can provide guidance on purchasing or renting quality instruments and sizing violins for children.
7. Studio Etiquette
Respect for the studio environment and others is essential. Please ensure that cell phones are silenced during lessons and that siblings or guests waiting during lessons do not disrupt the session.
Students should come prepared, with all materials organized, and ready to focus on their music.
A caregiver must be present during a minor student's lesson.
8. Performance Opportunities
Students are encouraged to participate in studio recitals and other performance opportunities. These events are valuable for building confidence and showcasing progress.
Participation in performances is not mandatory but is highly recommended.
9. Communication
Open communication between parents, students, and instructors is vital for a successful learning experience. Feel free to discuss any concerns or goals with the instructor at any time.
The studio will keep you informed of any schedule changes, upcoming events, or important announcements via email, text, or other preferred communication method.
10. Health and Safety
For the safety of all students and instructors, please do not attend lessons if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to a contagious illness. Virtual lessons via Zoom may be arranged in such cases.
The studio is committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Hand sanitizers and wipes will be available.
