Each year we gather at a different Australian university to celebrate the progress being made towards novel and innovative space telescope instrumentation, astronomy done from space, and astro-tech translation.

- BH2026 registration will open June 1st and close October 30th COB.
- Student Waiver program will open June 1st and positions announced July 31st.
- Abstract submission will open May 1st and close July 31st COB.
- Mission selection will be announced August 14th.
- Full registration is $150pp. Student registration fee waivers will be available and allocated competitively.

Giving a talk at Blue Horizons 2026 will be a bit different this year. Speakers will need to be part of mission teams, consisting of mission leads, instrument scientists, astronomers, engineers and astro-tech translation specialists. It also doesn't hurt to find yourself a few entrepreneurs.
Giving a talk at Blue Horizons 2026 will be a bit different this year. Speakers will need to be part of mission teams, consisting of mission leads, instrument scientists, astronomers, engineers and astro-tech translation specialists. It also doesn't hurt to find yourself a few entrepreneurs.
You don't have to give a talk if you form a mission team - but you will need to be part of a mission to join in all the fun!
