Akbash LPD Purchase Process

We do not plan a breeding until we have at least 5 people on a waiting list. Due to people requesting to be put on the waiting list then when the time comes, not following through, we have made some changes for future litters beginning in 2026.

We will plan a potential breeding and take requests to be placed on our waiting list. Beginning in 2026, a $100 deposit is due in order to be placed on our waiting list. Before a potential client is placed on the waiting list, we will require a questionnaire to be filled out. Those that have purchased puppies from us previously do NOT have to pay this fee to be placed on the waiting list. 

When we have a waiting list compiled, we will plan a breeding and contact those on our waiting list when our female is pregnant. At time of whelping, we will email our puppy agreements and require the second half of the deposit, to equal a total deposit of $200. 

We choose puppies for each farm based on the answers to the completed questionnaire and observation of each individual puppy. It is very important to us that each puppy is placed in a situation in which they can be successful. 

All of our puppies leave our farm at 10 weeks or later. They each receive 2 sets of vaccinations and 2 thorough examinations from a certified veterinarian, microchip and paid lifetime enrollment in AKC Reunite, one year paid membership to the Akbash Dog Association of America, leather collar, and print outs about the breed and puppy rearing. Each puppy is socialized and raised alongside goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and horses. We believe in our dogs and provide lifetime support and a health guarantee as well!
