Summer Reading 2021

Summer Reading Starts June 3rd!!

Tales, Tails and Ice Cream!

The annual summer reading program at the Bledsoe County Library will be “easy peasy” and outdoors this year. Teacher Kathi Britt will do story hour at the Farmers Market across from the library each Thursday in June, starting on the 3rd and ending on the 24th. Story hour will start at 10:30 and last about an hour. Each child will receive a chain and a brag tag for each attendance. After the reading we will go to Embers for ice cream and a stop at the library. We have lots of new children’s books available for checkout. It is important to keep reading and learning all summer. Avoid the dreaded “summer slump” by reading or listening to your child for at least 20 minutes per day. In case of rain we will go directly to Embers.
