The Team

Ferdinand Mabalane

I am a broadcast management professional with over 40 years of working and setting up of radio stations in South Africa and Botswana. I  have also played strategic/business roles in the ICT sector within the continent. Through this vehicle, we hope to turn around the fortunes of our people, positively change the situation for  the destitute, the aged and our people with disabilities, while improving living conditions in our village.

Itumeleng Molefe

A Software test analyst by profession with 25 years in the Information Technology sector. I started the entrepreneur journey from an early age in my teens ...touched on a lot of businesses from Motor Mechanics, steel welding and fabrication , aluminium window fabrications , solar backup power installations ,transportation and logistics just to name a few. an equal share of businesses I've initiated failed and most passed but throughout this journey priceless lessons were learned that made me who i am today. im driven by progressive change and to see everyone at the dining table.

Positioning

BlaqChain Kemet Foundation is a BaPhiring nonprofit organization for community-led change. And that’s because BlaqChain Kemet Foundation community programme:

   - Prioritises BaPhiring community voice in its grant making approach

- Focuses exclusively on Rietfontein and Holfontein where there is both the greatest need AND the greatest      potential for change

- Partners with BaPhiring community organisations to address the root causes of Rietfontein

     and Holfontein’s greatest challenges, with a focus on poverty and hopelessness
