Light's Out - Designing
What didn't go well
Communication - For some people it was worse than others but with was really difficult and overwhelming when people didn't have this soft skill.
Hack n Plan - People didn't use it enough. It felt like I was pestering the team to keep it updated, but in the end it turned out just okay. Would have been better to see it be updated live though.
What went well
Team Bonding - Team bonding was pretty good. A few of us hung out outside of class so that really helped boost morale when things got tough, it made us more comfortable with each other.
Burndown Charts - It was effective to see were we we're with the state of things, and how we are going. It was good for a general idea, but wasn't always apart of the conversation. Generally though we basically nailed everything in terms of scope.
What I would do differently
Cutting of Features - We had to cut a major feature of the game of the player running all the way back through. THis was unfortunate but had to be done. I think we just fell short of our goals, doesn't mean I'm upset, but I still wish things had turned out different.
Hack n Plan - Work in a schedule for people to update it for every break, rather than just asking people to do it.
