Cecity - Post Mortem
What didn't go well
Scheduling - Ran out of time on just about everything, I wanted to spend a whole week working on audio but kept delaying because I needed my programming to be more polished.
Audio Issues - Ran out of time to add a proper ending, along with any sort of “dynamic audio” for the player to track their stamina. The player can still track their breathing, but it's barebones.
Dualsense - Sony Dev Kit required so I wasn’t able to access the functions of the DualSense I was hoping to use .
What went well
Game Design - Most of the features I wanted and the mechanics I wanted worked fairly well in the game.
Deliverable - Mostly playable for blind people. Just missed some essential feedback for the player.
Programming - While I'm not thoroughly knowledgable in any language, learning C# and reading and watching tutorials was so fun. I learnt a lot.
What I would do differently
More Time on Audio - Should have just moved on from programming and gone for really high quality audio over the placeholder stuff considering my game is heavily reliant on it.
More Research - Should have spent more time looking into Dualsense support during pre-prod.
