The Blair Woman's Club of Blairstown was founded in 1927 by Frances M. Breed. This small group of like-minded women banded together with the purpose of serving others. The Club is in the Highlands District (composed of clubs from Warren, Sussex, and Morris counties) as a member of NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs, the largest volunteer women’s service organization.
In 1941 the club sponsored a town library, which today is known as the Catherine Dickson Hofman Library Branch of the Warren County library system.
The year 1946 marked the beginning of awarding annual scholarships to graduating seniors from North Warren Regional High School. To date, over $150,000 has been presented.
We continue to support the founders' goal of service to our community both local and global.
We welcome all women to join us who share our commitment of contributing to the wellbeing of others.

Keep us, O'God, from pettiness: let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
Let us be done with fault-finding and leave off self-seeking.
May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face, without self-pity and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgement and always generous.
Let us take time for all things, make us to grow calm, serene, gentle.
Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize it is the little things that create differences: that in the big things of life we are at one.
And may we strive to touch and to know the great common human heart of us all, and O, Lord God! let us forget not to be kind.

Barbara Warnkin of the Blair Woman’s Club handed out books donated by the club to each kindergartener and each first grader at the Blairstown Elementary School. The students were thrilled when they realized they could keep the books forever!
