Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Black Screen Camera. By downloading or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vista Mobile Limited governing your use of the Black Screen Camera mobile application. By accessing or using the Application, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and accept these Terms in full.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Black Screen Camera allows you to record video, capture photos, and record audio while the screen appears black or off. This is intended to enable discreet or battery-efficient recording in legitimate personal use scenarios such as recording lectures, ambient sound, or low-light situations.
3. PERMITTED USE
You may use the Application only for lawful purposes. Permitted uses include:
- Recording personal audio, video, or photos for your own use.
- Recording lectures, meetings, or events in which you are a participant and have the right to record.
- Recording ambient sound or video for creative or personal projects.
4. PROHIBITED USE
You agree that you will not use the Application to:
- Record, photograph, or surveil any person without their knowledge or consent where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including wiretapping, eavesdropping, or surveillance laws.
- Record minors without explicit consent from a parent or guardian.
- Harass, stalk, intimidate, or harm any individual.
- Record in locations where recording is explicitly prohibited.
- Distribute recordings in any manner that violates the privacy or legal rights of others.
5. USER RESPONSIBILITY
You are solely responsible for how you use the Application. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the recording consent laws in your jurisdiction. The Company assumes no liability for your failure to comply with applicable laws.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Application is the exclusive property of Vista Mobile Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Application.
7. DATA AND PRIVACY
All recordings are stored locally on your Device. We do not access, collect, or transmit your recordings. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Application is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use is at your sole risk.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vista Mobile Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application.
10. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time for conduct that violates these Terms.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
