The March on Washington, or The Commitment March, is a citizen march being held in Washington D.C. The march will be the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington of 1963, where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech, and where thousands of citizens marched for the civil rights of African-Americans. This year's march will serve to not only commemorate this historic event, but also to display citizen concern for topics such as police brutality and the upcoming 2020 presidential election.
