Application Criteria

1. Identify as Black.

2. Provide a minimum of one historic preservation experience (historic preservation project/internship/thesis/presentation/social media advocacy, etc.).

3. Identify as one or more of the following.

   • Professional. Architect, Planners, Engineers, Attorneys, Teachers, etc.

     • Architects, Historians, Archaeologists must meet the National Park Service's 36 CFR Part 61 qualifications, see https://www.nps.gov/history/local-law/arch_stnds_9.htm.

3. • Tradesperson or Supplier. Carpenters, Window Restorers, Electricians, Painters, General Contractors

3. • Citizen Advocates for Preservation. small business owners, volunteers, religious institutions, occasional advocate, concerned neighborhood resident

3. • Student. Junior College, Trade School, Undergraduate, Graduate
