Publications work

I served as editor-in-chief and lead author for the 2021 Yearbook jointly published by the KSESM and the KSME, focusing on Statistics Education in the Data Era.
As an advisor for the Korean Society of Teachers of Statistics, I also led the Korean translations of the GAISE Ⅱ report and Statistics and Data Science for Teachers published by the American Statistical Association.

In spring 2024, I chaired the Organizing Committee of the Conference of the KSESM, hosted by the Statistics Human Resourses Development Institute, with the theme Statistics, Data Science, and School Mathematics.
I have contributed to teacher research groups, professional development programs, and the development of the statistics service for children, KOSIS-EDU through the Ministry of Data and Statistics in Korea.
Additionally, I served as an advisor in the development of EBS’s statistics education software for elementary schools, EasyTong-E.

I received the Excellent Lecture Award from Jeonju National University of Education in Fall 2022.
In December 2023, I was honored with the Ministerial Commendation from the Ministry of Education for my contributions to the foundational research and development of TocToc Math, an AI-assisted elementary mathematics teaching support system.

I was a guest on the podcast, Dataholic, where I discussed current trends, changes, and future directions in statistics education in Korean elementary, middle, and high schools.
