This NY State bill would prohibit chlorpyrifos, a pesticide dangerous to humans and birds. It passed in the NY Assembly version and the NY Senate! It was vetoed by Governor Cuomo because it "bypasses the rigorous process available to challenge an approved product and substitute[s] the legislature’s judgment for the expertise of chemists, health experts, and other subject matter experts in this field.”

Also, please support HR 230, the Ban Toxic Pesticides Act of 2019. It would ban chlorpyrifos on the national level.
