This website is for a small mist-netting, bird-banding station in the eastern San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County. This station has numerous net sites, but only six or eight nets are used at any one time. If you are interested in observing or volunteering, email lavernebirds@gmail.com to learn where and when we'll be banding next. In most months, we band on one Saturday and once on a weekday.
