8 nets, 6 hours, 35 birds, 10 species.

1 Anna's Hummingbird

1 Allen's Hummingbird

11 Bushtit (3 recaps)

2 Bewick's Wren

1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet

1 Wrentit

2 Hermit Thrush

1 California Thrasher (recap)

1 Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow

14 Audubon's Warbler (1 recap)

It was a busy day. There were four new net sites east of the firebreak road. It is a more open area, with scattered bushes, and there were lots of Audubon's Warblers. There were two recaps east of the road: the Thrasher had crossed the firebreak, and one of the Bushtits had crossed it. The Bushtit had been banded only 20 days ago, from 435 meters away.
