Biomass4Synthons is a project led by Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa (FFUL, Portugal) in collaboration with the
Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry - Bulgarian Academy of Science (IOCCP-BAS, Bulgaria),
Sorbonne Université (SU, France),
Alma Mater Studiorum - Universita Di Bologna (UNIBO, Italy),

Universitat Wien (UNIVIE, Austria),
Associação BLC3 - Campus de Tecnologia e Inovação (BLC3, Portugal),
SPARTAX CHEMICALS, LDA (SPARTAX CHEM, Portugal).
The main goal is to boost scientific and technological capacity in synthetic organic chemistry in two institutions – FFUL and IOCCP-BAS – and two non-academic partners: SPARTAX CHEM and BLC3. All four institutions belong to Widening Countries, involved in a European network of laboratories with outstanding innovative research and training in this field.
